- Do I need an app for customers to scan it?
- No. Every current iPhone and Android camera reads QR codes from the standard camera app, with nothing to install.
- What happens when the menu changes?
- With a static code the link is fixed, so a new address means new table cards. With a dynamic code you edit the destination in Qurl and the cards already on the tables follow it.
- Can I use a PDF menu?
- Yes, though a web page is usually kinder on a phone. If you link a PDF, host it somewhere stable, because moving the file breaks a static code permanently.
- How big should a table card code be?
- Around 2.5cm to 3cm across works well at arm's length on a table. Keep a clear quiet margin around the pattern, and avoid printing it over a photo or texture.
- Can I see how many people scan it?
- Static codes cannot be counted, because the scan goes straight to your menu. A dynamic code counts every scan and shows the busiest times, which is included on the free plan.
