Free QR code generator
Paste a link and get a QR code you can print. No account, no watermark, and no expiry on the code itself.
The code is made in your browser. Nothing is uploaded and no account is needed.
Keep it editable
A printed code points at one address forever. If that address might ever change, make it a dynamic code instead and repoint it without reprinting.
Enter a link above and this becomes available.

Questions people ask
- Is this really free?
- Yes. The generator on this page needs no account, adds no watermark, and there is no limit on how many codes you make. The code keeps working for as long as the link you pointed it at does.
- Does the QR code expire?
- No. A static QR code contains your link directly, so nothing sits between the scan and your page, and there is nothing to expire or bill for.
- What is the difference between static and dynamic?
- A static code has your address baked into the pattern, so changing where it points means printing a new code. A dynamic code points at a short Qurl link you control, so the printed artwork stays the same and you change the destination whenever you like. Dynamic codes need a free Qurl account.
- Can I track scans?
- Not with a static code, because scans go straight to your page and never touch us. Dynamic codes count scans and show where they came from, on the free plan as well as the paid ones.
- What size should I print it?
- Download the SVG and scale it to whatever the layout needs, since it stays sharp at any size. As a rule a code should be at least 2cm across for a handheld scan, and larger for anything read from a distance, such as a poster or window.
